PUBLIC PROCUREMENT POLICY FOR MSMEs & ROLE OF CPSEs

A State level Seminar on ““PUBLIC PROCUREMENT POLICY FOR MSMEs & ROLE OF CPSEs” was organized. The Inaugural Ceremony of the Seminar was graced by Shri Sadashiv Samantaray, Director (Commercial), National Aluminium Company Ltd., Shri P. K. Gupta, IEDS, Jt. Director & HOO, MSME DFO, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Shri Somanath Tripathy, Executive Director, Rourkela Steel Plant, Shri Pramod Kumar, Executive Director, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Koraput Division, Sunabada. All the Guests and Dignitaries from CPSUs described the august gathering about their activities towards promotion of Ancillary industries and Vendor development activities. All above senior Officers of Mother plants also invited more & more MSMEs to be the vender in their organizations. After the inaugural Ceremony, the Technical session of the Seminar was organized in which the following representatives from different Mother plants and large houses were present. Sri Mihir Chandra, General Manager (MM)/HOD, Mahanadi Coalfields Ltd, Ms. Nitisha Mann, IES, Deputy Director, MSME DFO, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Mr. Gopal Krishna Sadangi, Dy. General Manager, (Outsourcing, Contracts & Projects), Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Mr. Ashish Jain, Asst General Manager (C&M and Stores), Talcher Super Thermal Power Station, NTPC Ltd,, Shri Prakash Shankar, Managing Director & CEO of A Treds Ltd, M/s. INVOICEMART. All above representatives were described in detail about the MSME developmental activities, Ancillary as well as Vendor developmental activities undertaken by their CPSUs through power point presentation. The Seminar was attended by more than 250 MSME units and the Seminar was successful, fruitful and result oriented
