NATIONAL LEVEL EXHIBITION – “PROPACK ODISHA-2022”

For the first time, OASME has organized the 1st edition of the National level mega Exhibitions i.e “PROPACK ODISHA-2022” from 25th August to 28th Augusr,2022 at Janata Maidan, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar under the patronization and support of Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India and MSME Department, Govt. of Odisha to promote the MSMEs of the State. The Exhibition was focused mostly on packaging, printing, converting, food processing and plastic industries. More than 250 industries from aforesaid sectors were participated in the exhibition from Odisha as well as different parts of India and showcase their products. This platform aims to offer a showcase of new business & networking opportunities to the MSMEs and also support creation of new markets and business channels for the exhibitors. This mega event was the first of its kind in Odisha as well as largest exhibition in Eastern India. The Exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Asit Kumar Tripathy, IAS, Principal Advisor to Hon’ble Chief Minister & Chairman, Western Odisha Development Council, Govt. of Odisha. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Shri P.K. Gupta, IEDS, Jt. Director & HOO, MSME DFO, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Smt. Ranjana Chopra, IAS, Principal Secretary, MSME Department, Govt. of Odisha, Shri Sridhar Patra, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NALCO and many other distinguished guests and faculties. During his inaugural address, the Chief Guest, Shri Asit Kumar Tripathy, IAS appreciated OASME for organizing such a mega event which will create a great opportunity for the State MSMEs to get a strong path to market their products in national as well as international market. Through this event, the MSMEs of Odisha can get opportunity to expand their business, export opportunity and showcase their products in international market. He said this through this mega platform, MSMEs can be benefited and gain knowledge about modern technology. Other guests and faculties also addressed the august gathering and contribute their wisdom towards development and promotion of MSMEs of the State. More than 250 entrepreneurs from all over Odisha as well as different States of the Country were attended the Inaugural Ceremony. On this august occasion, OASME Souvenir-2023 was released and successful entrepreneurs, best Mother Plant and best industry promotional Officer were felicitated by presenting OASME Award-2022 by the Chief Guest and other guests.
