TRAINING SESSION ON “PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISE IN INDIA (PSEI)”


International Labour Organization (ILO), under United Nation and OASME jointly organized the 2nd Training Session on “Promoting Sustainable Enterprise in India (PSEI)” in the Conference Hall of OASME. The inaugural Session was graced by Sri P. K. Gupta, Jt. Director & HOO, MSME-DFO, Govt. of India, Sri N. K. Singh, G.M, DIC, Cuttack along with other senior Govt. Officials. The aim & objective of this Training Session is to improve the manufacturing practice, good manufacturing process, cost reduction etc. 10 entrepreneurs from Food Processing units, Apparel and Sea Food sectors have been selected from Cuttack and Khurdha Districts for the Training. The 6 months & 3 module training includes a study tour to South Korea. The cost of the entire Certification Course will be borne by ILO. A formal MOU has been signed between ILO and OASME to work together in Odisha to develop State MSMEs to make them export oriented units and increase of manufacturing ability as well as expected relation between employer and employees of this State. ILO will also provide the market linkage on export to the trained units and OASME provides required support and cooperation to ILO for successful implementation of their project. State MSME Department is helping and providing all support to ILO and OASME for conducting the PSEI Training. Mr. Asish Dhiman on behalf of ILO and Ms. Chandana Das on behalf of OASME were conducting the Training Programme. This 2 days training programme was exclusively for the enterprises engaged in Apparel, Textile and garment manufacturing sectors.
