TRAINING SESSION ON “PROMOTING SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISE IN INDIA (PSEI)”


OASME jointly with International Labour Organization (ILO), under United Nation organized a Training Session on “Promoting Sustainable Enterprise in India (PSEI)” at Hotel Urmee, Bhubaneswar. Sri Bibhuti Bhusan Das, OAS, Special Secretary, MSME Department, Odisha, Smt. Manasi Mandhata, OAS, Addl. Secretary to Govt., MSME Department, Odisha, Ms. Sudipta, Technical Head, ILO and Mr. Satwik Swain, Secretary General, OASME were present in the Inaugural Session. 10 entrepreneurs from Food Processing units, Apparel and Sea Food sectors have been selected from Cuttack and Khurdha Districts for the Training. The Training Session conducted to improve the manufacturing practice, good manufacturing process, cost reduction etc. The 6 months & 3 module training includes a study tour to South Korea. The cost of the entire Certification Course will be borne by ILO. A formal MOU has been signed between ILO and OASME to work together in Odisha to develop State MSMEs to make them export oriented units. ILO will also give the trained units export market linkage. State MSME Department is helping and providing all support to ILO and OASME for conducting the PSEI Training. The Training Programme was conducted under direct supervision of Mr. Asish Dhiman on behalf of ILO and Ms. Chandana Das from OASME.
